February 2018: Trees instead of wheat

The sustainable cultivation of quick-growing paulownia trees is now a matter of course in Seehausen. Instead of fields of cereals, eco-farmer Lutz Koch now commits himself to the ecological cultivation of first-class paulownia trees from treeme.

He looks after 13,000 trees on around 20 hectares and sees a great deal of sustainable value for our environment through his work. Here you can see a brief report from MDR about the topic of paulownia trees, also called the foxglove tree.
